Santa Catarina, as well as the entire south of the country, is colonized by immigrant peoples from Europe, mostly by Germans and Italians. Families who needed to recreate all the things they had there, who cultivated their customs and brought a lot of determination in their luggage to build a new life here. Censi Máquinas emerged from the union of two mechanics from these families. The so-called “way of doing things”, which was initially a condition of existence, today is a legacy of work, discipline, creativity and excellence.

This heritage has made our state one of the most industrialized in the country. Santa Catarina has a great diversity of industries, with highlights being the mechanical metal sector and especially the textile. It is currently emerging as the largest textile hub and the only one with the complete chain – starting with the production of raw materials, transformation into fabric, elaboration of clothing and accessories until final sale.
